She studies the health data supply chain through the lens of structural justice. Their pioneering work is advancing "decentralized biobanking" as a conceptual framework and technological approach for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in biobanking and translational research. She first piloted "de-bi" for a large breast cancer biobank, and has founded de-bi, Co. to support further R&D via partnering with additional populations and use cases.
