The story of Jabez—a man whose very name meant "pain"—offers a powerful template for breaking free from limitation and experiencing divine enlargement. This message unpacks how we can position ourselves for "Uncommon Increase" through four key strategies. First, by desiring and asking God boldly, refusing to settle for our current circumstances. Jabez approached God with radical honesty, requesting blessing and territorial expansion—and God granted his request. Similarly, we must come to God with specific, faith-filled requests rather than accepting our limitations.The second positioning strategy involves deliberately depending on God's hand and protection. As Psalm 127 reminds us, unless the Lord builds, we labor in vain. Our efforts for increase without divine involvement ultimately prove futile. When seeking expansion in resources, influence, or impact, we must acknowledge our need for God's guidance and covering.Third, we explore how trusting God for favor and enlargement activates divine response. Just as God transformed Jabez from pain to honor, He can change our circumstances dramatically when we approach Him with faith. Hebrews 11:6 teaches that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him—making faith the catalyst for uncommon increase.Beyond personal growth, the message addresses how parents can foster spiritual and holistic development in their children. Drawing from Luke 2:52, we examine how Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man—providing a perfect model for nurturing children who will experience their own uncommon increase.What territory are you asking God to enlarge today?
