She was the very first to document the brain chemical pathways of sugar addiction, and to explain the sugar/fat seesaw hormonally and chemically.   Joan has helped hundreds and hundreds of clients with metabolic conditions – diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, and cancer – as well as with inflammation and mood issues.
