The class starts with preparation breath-work leading into Ujjayi breath (or Victorious Breath). Ujjayi is rightly called a "liberated breathing pattern." Used properly, it will create a deep release of embedded tension (body tension, breath tension and mental tension). This deep release creates a calm centered-ness that will help the Yogi through their day. A Vinyasa Yoga class that is accessible to all levels, but especially useful as an introductory class to using Ujjayi as the linking mechanism for the poses. Namaste. (all levels, with emphasis on creating breath that is free of tension)
