The class starts with preparation breath-work leading into Ujjayi breath (or Victorious Breath). Ujjayi is rightly called a "liberated breathing pattern." Used properly, it will create a deep release of embedded tension (body tension, breath tension and mental tension). This deep release creates a calm centered-ness that will help the Yogi through their day. A Vinyasa Yoga class that is accessible to all levels, but especially useful as an introductory class to using Ujjayi as the linking mechanism for the poses. Namaste.
