Drew is the Head Cross Country and Middle Distance athletics coach at Cranbrook School, as well as coaching his own successful junior squad called Fryers Run Club. Drew is also a shoe expert, working at The Runners Shop in Randwick, sister store to the Coast Runners Shop. Most recently Drew was awarded the 2021 NSW Young Coach of the Year Award. Drew's coaching style has a heavy focus on strong athlete-coach relationships and positive training environments. Drew is passionate about reducing athlete drop out in sport and he strives to create sustainable training programs. We asked Drew how he got into coaching and how he builds trust with his athletes.
