In this amazing episode, I talk with collage artist and art market extraordinaire, Kate Cuthbert. Kate was recently diagnosed with MS and has shifted from her decades-long path selling her work at art markets, to teaching others how to master all there is to know about the wonderfully whacky world of art markets. Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia, collage artist, Kate Cuthbert, studied furniture design before focusing on her life-long love of collage art. In 2014 she began sharing her work under the handle 'satin&tat' and has since exhibited across Australia, the USA, Europe, and Scandinavia. She has also been published internationally.Kate's commissions include work for The Wall Street Journal, Ted Baker, album and book covers, as well as private pieces. In 2021, Print Mag named her one of the "Top 5 Collage Artists to Follow on Instagram." Kate has overseen Collage Expo for the past 8 years- an instagram account dedicated to sharing the art of analogue collage.Kate sold her collage art at markets for 10 years until a recent diagnosis of MS changed her path. She is now setting out to share her wealth of market experience by teaching others through 'The Art of Markets'.
