18 | Passion Week 2026, Thursday Biblical Encouragement

Thursday is an important day in Passion Week.  In today's scripture reading, Matthew 26:17-75, you will hear about the passover meal Jesus shared with his disciples.  We use his words from this scripture when we take communion today.   Jesus prays in the Garden of Gethsemene and Judas betrays Jesus with a kiss.  You'll also hear Peter deny Jesus three times, exactly what Jesus had predicted earlier.   Let's all make sure we aren't betraying or denying Jesus in the way we engage in the world this week or any week.   I will be posting scripture each day this week that align to what happened the final week of Jesus' life here on earth.  Regular podcast releases will resume next Tuesday.
