18 Pulgris Attacks

The smoke darkens and begins to glow a dark hue of green, blocking out the little sun light that escaped the fog before. Solae's vision darkens at the edges a familiar deep red hue. You see the battlefield shift and distort. Men and dwarves begin to scream, their eyes darting about in madness. Some flee and others turn their weapons on one another. The ground begins to swell and crack, blood pushing through the gaps to spit and pool above the dirt. You find yourself now, above the ruined city of Bizar. Youfall out of the sky, plummeting toward the ancient broken cobblestone road. Passing through you watch as the dirt passes like a dark cloud and you find yourself within a great cave, pitch black in all directions. Suddenly a deep pulse of red light beats from the center of the cave below, then goes out. It beats again, like a slowly pulsing massive heart. The last beat revealing huge white columns that curve down the sides of the cave.
