哈囉！我們是山癡的Lu老師和貪吃的Tati，我們用富有意涵的英文故事療癒你～ Happy International Women’s Day! 今天的療癒故事，呼應到下週，也是每年三月八號 的國際婦女節，今年的標語是"Break the Bias" 打破偏見(像🙅🏻‍♀️手舉叉叉)，我們特別選了一個曾獲選為BBC全球百大女性，「棉樂悅事」創辦人林念慈的故事和你分享 對出生在台灣的妳我來說，到藥妝店買微生棉、衛生棉條大概是再容易也不過的一件事。不過對於生活在尼泊爾、印度、肯亞等國家的女性，可是求之不得的幸運，在這些國家，女人的月事被視為污穢的、會傳染的事物，像故事裡提到的，在尼泊爾，女性在生理期來時必須關進「月事小屋」(menstrual hut)，斷絕和外界往來，而這項規定也是道近幾年才正式判為違法 🔖故事節錄 "Taiwan social entrepreneur Lin Nien-tzu—founder of Nepal-based Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop—is featured in this year’s BBC 100 Women, a list of the most influential and inspirational women in the world. She established the workshop in a rural village with the goal of helping Nepalese women break the shame around periods.
