#180 - Christiane Féral-Schuhl : " Il n’y a rien de stratégique, il y a des opportunités"

Christiane Féral-Schuhl est avocate au Barreau de Paris depuis 1981 et au Barreau du Québec depuis 2016. Spécialiste des nouvelles technologies et du droit de numérique, de la propriété intellectuelle et des données personnelles, elle exerce aussi les fonctions de médiatrice, d’arbitre et de cyberarbitre. Bâtonnière du Barreau de Paris en 2012, elle a également présidé le Conseil National des Barreaux entre 2018 et 2020.  En quelques mots, sa vision de la profession d’avocate se résume ainsi : «  sur le plan professionnel, il faut bien sûr du travail et de la détermination mais il faut aussi rester attentif aux autres, la fenêtre toujours grande ouverte. Ce sont les rencontres et les opportunités qui permettent de réaliser des projets, tout en conservant toujours un fil conducteur (il ne s’agit pas de s’éparpiller !). Dans mon cas, c’est le numérique et la médiation qui auront été mes chevaux de bataille. Plaisir de cultiver ces domaines d’expertise !  Quant à mes mandats, ils m’auront permis de faire avancer les projets auxquels je crois et de défendre cette belle profession. Je n’ai donc aucun regret même si certains combats ont été rudes. J’ai en revanche beaucoup de beaux souvenirs.
