Tanya Clemens, UCP Nomination Candidate or Livingstone-Macleod Why I’m running: I am born and raised in Livingstone-Macleod and have always felt the calling to serve my community. I view political leadership as both a service and a civic duty. Alberta sits at a precipice. If we continue heading toward the sovereign Alberta the United Conservative Party (UCP) is leading us towards, we will realize the prosperity and freedom Albertans deserve. If we do not continue on this path, slipping backwards from this precipice, we risk unprecedented damage to our core industries (natural resource development, agriculture, etc.), resulting in further hardships for Albertans. I am very proud of our rural roots, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong work ethic. I want power returned to the people of this province and for our elected representatives to acknowledge their leadership as a service to their constituents.
