Scripture: Hebrews 11:1-4; Genesis 4:1-7 Notes: - When you follow Jesus you have to live by faith. - Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. - People cannot come to God through works of man make righteousness. - The righteousness of God is something you are given from God. - Do it God's way. - If you do the right thing God will smile upon you. - If we obey the Lord there is blessing from heaven. - We must run our race with patience. - You will make choices this week that will either load you down or lift you up. - So keep your eyes on Jesus. - The moment you take your eyes off of Jesus sin will come upon you. - Sin can't destroy you but it can hold you down.
