182 - Laura

We stick with a black & white film, but go back to the 1940s and our noir roots to discuss the Otto Preminger film “Laura”. The 1001 by 1 crew is joined by Britt’s sister, Erin, to discuss the noir tropes, interesting characters, and how innovative the storytelling was. Also, this week Erin recommends “The Muppet Christmas Carol” (currently on Disney+), Britt recommends “The Big Lebowski” (available on most VOD platforms), Joey recommends “Anora” (currently still in cinemas), and Adam recommends “Miracle” (currently on Disney+).
