#182: Newport, not County
from 1912 Exiles
It's Ed on duty for our first summer special, looking at local football beyond our beloved Newport County, as we try to squeeze the last few drops of football out of the season whilst there are games to watch. It's an episode in three parts, covering (approximate timings): Newport City FC men's playoff match vs Cefn Cribwr (4mins) Newport United futsal team (16mins) Newport City FC women's cup final vs Pontarddulais (27mins) We plan to shine a light on a different local men's team next season (and possibly a different women's team too, we'll see). Get in touch if you're involved in a club who's like to be our 'team in focus' for 2024/25 - we're open to offers! But in the meantime, you can follow Newport City men (Twitter / Facebook), Newport City women (Twitter / Facebook) and Newport United (Twitter / Facebook) to see what they get up to next. As always, drop us a line via Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn. Thanks to Tinty & The Bucket Hats for continuing to let us use Discoland as our theme tune.
