183 - Hellraiser (1987) Review

A woman discovers her dead brother-in-law come back to life as a bloody, skeletal form and honors a request to help rejuvenate his body in order to escape the demonic entities who are after him. Hellraiser is the final movie we are reviewing in Spooky Season and it is long overdue. The Clive Barker classic still holds up today as an excellent horror movie featuring great practical effects and creepy characters. This film provided viewers who were used to the likes of Jason, Michael, and Freddy with a completely different experience, showing that ultimate pleasure comes with a cost.
