183. Light in the Vessels

Episode 183 - Light in the Vessels, this Christmas episode is all about finding light in the darkness. As I've been preparing for holiday concerts and reflecting on the story of the brother of Jared, I've been struck by the powerful symbolism of the Lord causing the stones to shine in the darkness. Even when life feels tumultuous, heavy, and disorienting, Christ's light can still shine. The tempests we face are often what's moving us towards the promised land, even if we can't see the full picture. I've had to really ponder whether I trust that the challenges in my life and the lives of those I love are part of God's plan to get us where we need to go. Ultimately, I've realized that Jesus Christ is the only one who can truly light our vessels and provide the eternal perspective we need to find peace, even in our darkest moments. This Christmas, my prayer is that we can all fall on our knees before the Savior, trusting that He will catch us and guide us safely to our promised lands, in His own time. He is the light that can dispel any darkness.
