Svein shattered the record riding 1,044 km with almost 12,000 m of ascent in a time of 2 days and 2 hours.Svein is a retired Canadian road cyclist who competed professionally from 2005 to 2019. He rode for several teams, including Symmetrics, Garmin–Transitions, SpiderTech–C10, Mitchelton–Scott, and Rally UHC Cycling.
