Justin M. O'Sullivan PhD is a Professor, Associate Director for Research and the Deputy Director of the Liggins Institute, University of Auckland. Justin trained as a molecular microbiologist, before completing postdocs on the genetic code in Candida albicans and transcription control in Saccharomyces cerevisiae At a basic level Justin is trying to understand how your genetics interface with your environment through your microbiome to affect your risk of developing complex diseases. His end goal is to contribute to individualized/personal medicine.
