from The Construction Life

Sit back and enjoy this special show where we will be discussing family, old school, new school, all kinds of bricklaying, building in Montreal, more family, food, history and more, Danny has a lot to share and of course, we will upset a few, it’s The Construction Life.Danny begins his journey almost 40 years ago when his Dad immigrated to Canada, the family followed, sisters married two brothers and they became a crew of hardworking old school bricklayers and they always helped each other out and that is how the business started. With any successful business Danny shares his thoughts on the team his dad built, the team Danny is building, what to do when the older trades are ready to retire and how to train and seek out the younger trades to continue the quality. Danny continues discussing trends, coloured mortar, suppliers, and clients’ expectations.Danny enlightens the listeners about the CCQ, the link is below, it is basically a legal mafia, yes, I might get into trouble, but the CCQ is ridiculous, it’s a shake down to take money out of hardworking tradespeople no matter if you are even working on your personal home. The guys discuss old vs new school and how Danny’s dad feels jobs are taking longer because of the younger trades and having to be careful on how you speak to the younger more sensitive generation. We wrap things up with the 12 Questions of Construction and Danny shares some great replies. This show has truly been about family and the love for the people in our lives and Danny shares so much about his personal, and professional families.Shared and Discussed Linkshttps://ecole-metiers-construction.cssdm.gouv.qc.ca/programme/masonry-bricklaying/https://www.ccq.orghttps://www.spray-net.comhttps://brickwash.comhttps://www.garantiegcr.com/fr/What an amazing show thank you so much Danny for spending the weekend in Toronto and looking forward to seeing you again and meeting the family.
