#186 Scratching Fanny the Cock Lane Ghost

from But It Was Aliens · host But It Was Aliens

The extraterrestrial comedy podcast where we probe Scratching Fanny, the unfortunately named ghost of Cock Lane in Central London (also known as Frances Kent and Frances Lynes). Also unfortunately (and confusingly) named were Willy Kent, Fanny’s ‘husband’ and Richard ‘Dick' Parsons, Willy’s pal. Willy and Fanny had a secret and Willy shared that secret with Dick which may not have been the best idea as Dick owed Willy money. All of this escalated as Fanny met an unfortunately premature passing but was that passing natural? Dick thought not and brought in a holy man to verify this. Willy was not happy, particularly as Fanny begun attending seances from beyond. Was Fanny using her knockers to communicate her untimely passing to the living, or was Dick stretching Fanny’s truth? It’s probably worth mentioning at this point that some of us got very confused during the recording of this episode. Apologies, folks. It all made sense in the end but we guess the moral of the story here is that you can have too much Dick and Willy. Alongside that chaotic mess, we discover that you can indeed trust a John. All that and more on this week’s file.Patreon:https://www.patreon.com/butitwasaliensStore:https://butitwasaliens.co.uk/shop/Probe us:Email: [email protected]/Threads @ ButItWasAliensTwitter @ ButItWasAliensFacebook: @ ButItWasAliens - join Extraterrestrial TowersMusic: Music created via Garageband.
