13JUL21: ITS NOT JUST A JOB… ITS AN ADVANTAGEOUS OPPORTUNITY TO COMPLAIN At strategic levels the Navy’s purpose is power projection. This means protecting US trade routes. It means operating aircraft from international waters. Basically, controlling the 70+ percent of the Earth that is covered in water, and controlling it in every way imaginable. But is that impossible in their current state? STICKS AND STONES… BUT WHAT IF IT IS A MICRO-AGGRESSION? I’m always telling my daughter and son stories from when I was a kid. By comparison, the world of my youth was rougher and meaner than the world that kids grow up in today. So, here’s my question: Did this rougher and meaner world better prepare me to be a well-adjusted, happy adult? I say yes. CUBAN DISMISSAL CRISIS It sure has been quiet the last few days among the “democratic socialist” crowd. Bernie Sanders, who can’t shut up about much of anything most of the time, seems to have lost his tongue and his Twitter. Ditto for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her fellow commie-harpies in the Squad. Why do you think that is?
