Bird of the Year is back and the twitchers in us are absolutely frothing. Will the Ibis rise (from the bin) to claim the crown? The humble Magpie? What about the Tawny Frogmouth? Myf and Zan will reveal who they’re backing and why we love this annual poll of winged creatures. When we’re not bird watching, we’re binge viewing. But many streaming services are turning away from the mass dump of series in one go. Why? And the narrative forming around Gabby Petito’s tragic murder is leaving a bad taste in our mouths, as the crossover of real life and true crime becomes a little too close. Daylight Savings is about to kick into gear, and one person is campaigning to really lean into longer days.
