In dem Buch werden Menschen aus verschiedenen Erdteilen über smarte Kuscheltiere, sogenannte Kentukis, miteinander verknüpft und zeigen sich im Verlauf von ihrer besten aber auch schlechtesten Seite. Außerdem empfiehlt Christoph “Jeder von uns bewohnt die Welt auf seine Weise” von Jean-Paul Dubois, was er gleich zweimal lesen musste, weil sich der Kreis dann so schön geschlossen hat. Und Andrea stellt “Herzfaden” von Thomas Hettche vor, ein Roman über die Geschichte der Augsburger Puppenkiste, so dachte Andrea anfangs.
