#19: 3 Community Development Services You’d Be Surprised Don’t Count

On this week’s CRA Tip episode, we explore three community development services you might be surprised don’t count as CRA activities. Here is a brief overview:1. Serving food at your local homeless shelter. This activity does not relate to the provision of financial services.2. Helping build a Habitat for Humanity home during a weekend build. Again, this activity does not relate to the provision of financial services. 3. Ringing the bell for the Salvation Army’s major fundraiser each holiday season that raises over $125 million to support hunger alleviation and poverty reduction for our most vulnerable.
