This week, the boys welcome writer, producer and improviser Edgar Momplaisir (Buzzfeed, Frenemies Podcast) to the show to take a special look at the career of JTG and Shad Gaspard, collectively known as Cryme Tyme - whose antics were billed by WWE as “an attempt at SNL-style humor”, to which Stephen takes particular offense. Also, everyone examines the racial stereotypes presented throughout their run and especially dissects an infamous RAW in-ring segment featuring a George W. Bush impersonator. Then, Joey and Nick further break down the use and misuse of comedy in wrestling, especially the execution of it on WWE TV. Plus, Nick tries to make #MalcolmSnackwell happen and Stephen tries to get everyone to love Sam Cooke’s Live at the Harlem Square Club, 1963.
