19. Fixing… Boxing Day
from Football Is Fixable, Alright?! Hosted by Ces, Dan and James
Boxing Day used to mean wall-to-wall football. Now it’s been trimmed down to a single, underwhelming fixture. This week, Dan and James take aim at how broadcasters and schedulers have quietly stripped the day of its magic, turning one of football’s greatest traditions into just another calendar slot. From packed festive slates to a lone kickoff, the lads ask how Boxing Day football lost its soul — and how it can be fixed before the tradition disappears for good, alright?!
