19. Harold Henthorn
from Rabbit Hole Happy Hour Hosted by Rabbit Hole Happy Hour
Harold Henthorn planned to surprise his wife Toni with a romantic getaway to the Rocky Mountains to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. He meticulously planned every detail and even Toni's colleagues at her ophthalmology practice were involved in the surprise! They gushed over how sweet the gesture was, but days later, Toni's colleagues, friends, and family would receive a text from her husband, "My bride is gone." Toni had fallen to her death from a cliff in Estes Park. But rangers weren't buying Harold's story that this was just a tragic accident.
