Beth Laury, spiritual director and retreat leader at Sacred Spaces, speaks of her shifting view of God from a task-master to lover. Her ministry has also shifted from" worker and doer" to more of a "hidden call", and helps us discover the beauty of living free from past narratives that have limited our capacity to experience true joy in our spirituality. She encourages Christians who have felt distant from God to listen to God's tender and gentle urgings of the soul, as He invites them closer.
