19: Inside My Class: Expository Writing Lesson

Struggling with how to teach writing? Today I'm opening the doors to my classroom and letting you listen in on a real classroom lesson taught in a distance second grade class. This is the second lesson in a new unit on expository writing. While little modeling of writing is done, I am setting students up for the understanding of the difference between facts and opinion which will not only be beneficial in the expository unit but the opinion unit as well.
