19. Uncut Gems
from Socks & Sandlers
Send us Fan Mail The fellas are back to talk about the Sandman's arguably most serious role and film, Uncut Gems. Released in 2019, the film follows the intense life of Howard Ratner, a two-timing, charismatic jeweler that makes so many poor choices with money. Betting any and all money he owes in pursuit of that big win. After obtaining an Ethiopian opal, Ratner's life goes into hyperdrive as Kevin Garnett (played by himself) finds interest in the rare geode. Directed by Benny & Josh Safdie, this film is a stand-out for Adam Sandler as it's so dissimilar to other productions he has been apart of. Like always, the Sandman is joined by well-known celebrities such as Julia Fox, Eric Bogosian, and Idina Menzel. Intro and outro created by Dukebox27, follow him on Tiktok and Instagram!
