#19 - What is an R-2000 Home?

Similar to a Passive House, R-2000 is another building standard that you can plan to achieve when building your home.  It can be overwhelming to learn about all these different building standards. The important thing, for you, is to know which one of these measures suits your needs. As a contractor, we can work with you to determine which way to proceed. Before that, though, think about what you want to get from your future home. Is it comfort? Is it performance? For the visual folk out there, here is a picture version of all the standards. Passive House would be at around the same level as Net Zero Ready.
