Today I spoke with Michelle Holling-Brooks, founder of Unbridled Change and author for a deep dive around her remarkable journey from trauma to spiritual rebirth. As a teenager, Michelle suffered a life-threatening illness that threw her into a week-long coma, stripped away her ability to see, hear, or feel, and wiped her sense of self completely. What emerged from that darkness, however, was not just survival, but a radical reawakening and almost non stop out of body experience. Horses became her lifeline, guiding her back to connection, body, mind, heart, and soul. It was through them she first began to heal.
