Hi welcome to Class of Stuff You Should Know, a podcast about classical education, old books, old poems, sometimes some art, and just like learning. Philosophy, if you listen to our last episode we talked a lot about free will and god and stuff. Anyway, this is what we do. My name is Brandon and I'm joined with my co-partners in learning.
The numbers, the numbers, the numbers. The numbers, the numbers, the numbers. We're done again. I don't know if our partners like co.
That's so interesting. Yeah, great point. I'm joined by my co-host, AJ, and Tom. Tom, maybe.
And we're going back to the beginning. Back to the beginning of history. I want to know, I want to know what love is, maybe, and I want you to show me. Being a history, I'm talking about like the size of the big bangs that we're going all the way back.
So I want to say about love. We have some important information in this episode, so go through right now. Yes, this is, I think, part four in the series of vorantists, but this is on chapter three or book three rather. So that's what we're up to get started there.
So we've got, we've got, we've got, we've got, nine books, yeah. We're in episode four, three books. Yeah. Yeah.
Right. So we're on the third book. This is our four episode. Yeah, there's four episodes.
We've got three books. Yeah, there we go. So we'll take forever. Yeah.
Yeah. Well, the goal to be a forever, right? The podcast was going on on on. The podcast was, yes, the podcast.
Oh, that's a great question. Who is your mentor? The first segment. So obviously my children, right?
We take the four winners for freedom, Mel for, yeah. And some of these are happy. Some of these are like trials that they have. Yeah.
Yeah. Right. Yeah. Yeah.
What you have. We have practices. What are we doing? What are we doing?
What are we doing? We're doing. There's a lot of tests. So the, so that's things that we've talked about.
I guess we should probably start with like a recap of the series. So for you, current listeners are going through this, you know, then maybe a month and a half and a half and a half and a half and so last. So we're just absolutely not being the people in the future who are definitely listening to the series. You just listen to part three or whatever.
So welcome back. So this series on the run, it's going through the landmark run, which is a specific translation by Robert Strasler. If you want more information on the name of episode one, I believe on his author page. It calls him an affiliated scholar, which means that he doesn't work for the university.
He was a successful business guy. Can you do that? What we do? Well, we are, we are definitely a scholar.
So we're not, well, you do are affiliated with very much. But I don't think that counts. You're not affiliated scholars. Thomas, tell me about it.
If you're a credible, except I don't have the ability to translate to the complex wrestler. So I'm a hack for all of these. So Robert Strasler is the guy who is in charge. He's the editor over the series of the series.
He's called Landmark and there are many books. If I wonder that there's, we have the right to see what we're talking about now. If you see the details as part of this, something happens that I probably should have is that there must be recent, the Landmark was recent translation is the Landmark Caesar. And so that came out in 2019, which is cool.
But also about a third of the book is only available online. It's not included in the book itself. Basically, he put together all of the things he wanted to put in the book in the two many pages. And the publisher was like, we can't do, you know, 2008 book.
So about yourself available for online for introducing Google and find it. But yes, I really good Google talk in, I think they're called Google talk. He was talking about 2018 about the launch of the Landmark Caesar. And it's very good.
I'm just talking about this. I'm just talking about this. I'm just talking about this. I'm just talking about it.
But that just means that the Landmark Caesar talked about it. No, like, why not have a section of the book? Maybe this is a misunderstanding platform. Can you tell me how much time you can talk about this?
Zero. You guys are trying to prove it. We probably aren't on TikTok, but we're realizing it. We probably walk by our students doing some dance.
Oh, come on. I don't want to dance a lot of calls. So you're like the same thing in the background. You're on the background of some video, like three million views.
So if you found that, please let us know. Please don't be mean to 99. We probably are means, right? That has to be true.
Yeah. What? Speaking of gallery and rabbit trails. So we are going to be going through chapter three of Herodotus, which I'll dive into before we do.
Well, before we do, we should do a background or a recap where we're working around this. Before we do that, I just want to say, I was recently looking for episodes and, you know, the rabbit is part one episode is doing really, really well. It's great. If you are interested in history, the series you should be listening to is Graham's series on the planet.
And I don't know why that's not number one of those number episodes. So if you please, just go to your podcast, whatever insert the planet's in there. So I'm going to say, why are you re-opping our episodes? Because it's a great episode.
So on YouTube it's almost popular episodes, but among like our podcast lessons it's not. If you enjoy anything about Herodotus, you will much prefer the planet's series is the better version of what we're going through right now. So please go listen to that. And then I also hate a series on the playlist.
It's like, it's like a really entertaining story. Please go listen to those if you have not. Okay. Where are we right now with Herodotus?
So we've done two books of Herodotus. What are the high points that are not going to do this to this place right here? We spent the whole hour talking about Herodotus. It's got a lot of stuff wrong about Herodotus.
We've got these weird things about Herodotus. They built the period of six. They built the period of six. I mean, prove it wrong.
I'm not saying. I can't literally get an end to time of achievement. I'm an end to time of achievement. I'm an end to time of achievement.
I have a few of that. I have a few of those. I'll have a few of those. I'll have a few of those.
So we kind of charted the beginning of this like talking about Greece, it's not really making sense. They have more localized people groups. So we have a video that was the first region we talked through in that called the creases. Creases is then defeated by Cyrus.
And the story kind of moves to Cyrus and tells us. It's not bringing. Right. And Cyrus was the key one.
He wasn't the key one. He wasn't the key one. But he had a vision about a future king who was like angel or something. But there was like a vision of celestial being two wings.
Like a couple of Europe and Asia. And I remember some of the things wrong. But one of them was one king and one of them was more king Darius who we'll get to. But the end of the session.
Oh, the mean? Yeah. Wait. I should name theres me.
So we was an amigator. The mean part of the Darius. I was going to use the grand of meat called Darius the. Someone found something for us to kill you.
So that's the same. That was the great. We need to drink it. Correct.
And we have an wrapping video that I still not supposed to do to do. So we get over it. I'll do it eventually. OK.
So we just finished up with you talking about Egypt. And it was I said the end of the episode. It's the same by actually going through the rotators. We have some real book to it's not worth the semi pages to go into.
It's most of what the translators are about. It's how wrong Herodotus is about everything that you talked about. So go to the first one. It's the only reason that Herodotus has this section about Egypt is to set up this next conflict with the persons people we were talking about before.
So if you all remember long time ago at the end of book one, Cyrus died. So there was this conflict. Cyrus was standing in his borders. He came against a group of people who either would let him go onto their land and they would fight there.
Or they would come onto his land and fight on his land. Cyrus was advised by Greece. He was still in the picture. They don't invade their land into fight.
And then they would go into a really important exercise. So the increases was saved by from being on the pyre. Yeah. Yeah.
The original king that we talked about in the story actually. We got through three and three and three and three and three and around for a long time at this point. We talked before Herodotus is kind of this mixture of things that actually happened with myth and Greece as well. It's very much in that category.
Because I forget the exact number. But we're like six years past when he was king. After we were getting great in 20 years or something like that. Have you seen that like internet meme about history where it's like modern historians are the like angry guy going like, you know, I've spent like 6,000 pages talking about the history of French bread prices in order to like talk about the money that was used for the French war.
But maybe it's not really a fully complete picture. And the agent historians like the chat guy saying like this totally happens. My cousin had a dream about it. Yeah.
This is the way it happens. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
This is the same way. This guy said this. This guy said this. The point is that the translator for the landmark artist frequently repeats over and over again that later.
Or I just want to think the effect of dreams are just like interesting about working out. But reading the story itself at this point, you know, the thing about having the entire continent of Asia, you know what I'm talking about with the prophecy. It's not probably just going to happen. It's already happening.
So our listeners are looking to work. You're looking to work. So that gets us out. We're kicking off with this.
We've done this aside to either come back to our main story around the language of Cyrus. So Cyrus died and taking this place is Canvasus. So Canvasus is one of the sons of Cyrus and Canvasus is continuing with the conquest of that Cyrus had started off. Oh, so she was talking.
Yeah, 100%. A lot of times, I'm like, oh, look at my dad did. No, not like this. We had some of this in the Egypt section.
But there seems to be this kind of drive for doing better than your parents. So one of the key to the section was about wanting to build bigger and bigger than your father. Like, you actually do even better than the Egypt. So we kick off with this come with Canvasus coming in the control of what Cyrus had owned before.
And he is like, first conflict that he has against Egypt. So like, literally book three opens with against this. And that's just a message that Canvasus was preparing to wait for. Again, literally the entire point of book two was to set up one name, which within open book three is actually really quick story.
So we don't need to do this on the same thing. So Herodotus is wanting to answer the question of why Canvasus started with, why did he go there before? He could have conquered anywhere. He could have been a village that's father.
By going off after the people who kill his father, he doesn't do that. After the people who eat up. You think about what are some reasons that would soak a military conquest from a leader? What would you do that?
Well, you want to work in Egypt? Yeah, what are you? Yeah, so money would be a good option. And then Sastja, or Nestle the Girl I like to see that?
Maybe, maybe. Because that's exactly what happens. So Canvasus comes into power. He is trying to amassus.
He is pressing Egypt as well as a part of it, but kind of through more political means of allowing himself with people. And part of that is through marriage. It would be like one way to align your interest with someone. It's like a minute.
Yeah, exactly. So Canvasus asks, a mass is for one of his a mass is daughter to come in your Canvasus. And, you know, there's uncertainty at the beginning of whether Canvasus will be successful or not in a conquest, whether he will be as great as as literally as the greatest. Or can be a Canvasus not the greatest.
You just don't know. And so Anasus wants to customize this to passable. Yeah, he's like, OK, right. You know, Canvasus, we greater than a curve, right?
And so Anasus, instead of sending one of his daughters, another woman, beautiful woman, but not actually one of his daughters. And Canvasus is deeply offended by this. And so he sets out to avenge this like disrespect as honor by going up to Egypt. That's the insight.
And Canvasus, I'm not really. And I forget, I think he's just talking with her. And she's like, no, not actually one of his kids. There's more to it.
Yeah, there's more to it. Yeah, there's nothing. There's nothing. I don't think that they're related at all.
Yeah, there's more to it. This is not the moment he's related to Anasus. So, you've got to throw down now. Yeah, that's the point.
Sorry, you have no idea how you didn't do Canvasus. He decked me out in the end of the way. That's what the translation says. He decked me out in findery and sent me off to you.
On a pretense that he has given up his own daughter, and reality on the daughter of April. His former master, whom he murdered when he ditched and revolted. So he's even worse. He's not even going to be able to write one of those.
So canvasus finds this out quickly. There's another account given, but you know, he's not going to hurt. He's not going to hurt because he's not going to hurt. He's like, Mary, let's go.
He'll just write one of those down. He'll literally have a lot of wives. And it doesn't really go into it. I don't think he's meant to begin in the story.
I think she's not around with us. Exactly right. And she wants to do what this was. Glassware.
Yeah, she started that. She's not going to be in the middle of the gym. So that's what kicks off the conflict with Egypt. So Canvasus then goes into text Egypt.
And ultimately, this war takes a long time to get into the conflict. And instead of Canvasus getting to have the revenge, he wants by actually killing a massive die of old age. So it's kind of, I know, it's not that bad. So he tries to mess.
Did he celebrate in for a party? He's like, I was like, I was like, well, I didn't get in the conflict. No, no, no, because he still wants to capture the land. Which was like, that's what I was talking about.
Yeah, that's what I was talking about. So I'm on a sizable age and his son, some in the toast. I was joking before that. I'm just wondering about your other one's name.
And I've made this preface and everyone of these episodes so far. But I'm just so sorry, don't even know better than I do as many names. So in the toast, the son of a master takes over and they're conflict in the fact that forth, but openly can buy just prevails. So can buy just captures some of the toast and is happy about that.
You want to be one that he wants to do then get back at Egypt for what they've done to the disrespect they showed him early on. And so that's only been king for six months, I think he was not very long time. So he wanted to wait to just race them. So he puts them all out in front of Memphis.
I think it's the town of Memphis. So he's just too critical. So they're all set outside the town and can buy just as more just buy all the budget people to try and get at some of the toast to get this reaction out. So he wants to insult him.
He wants to break him down. So he has one of the sentences daughters walked by. Just like slave, carrying a daughter along with other daughters of him and then the end of the toast. He gets a stiff upper lip.
He kind of holds it all together. He doesn't react to seeing his daughter, card off in front of him. He led a slavery. He combines his nose.
So he ups the game. Instead of it being one of the daughters being sent off to slavery, he has one of the sentences sons brought out and kills the son in front of the sentence. And then the toast, the other response, he keeps that, he's all to himself, he's just motion under control and is able to kind of withstand the situation, you know, with the end of the story, he's just going to get a little bit of a story. And then there's a third person who's passed by.
He doesn't necessarily claim it this way. Everyone's going to get out of the city. He had any connections with the previous game. And one of those people is an old drinking body of some of the toast.
And once the only thing that happened that just happened that an elderly man passed him, one of those is more drinking pain. We lost his property with no popper. And that's nothing except whatever. And the other difference we're seeing in front of the entrance, the main one passed.
So he noticed him in that's what caused him to come up here. He called up to his friend by name. He beat himself and said, and he can buy his as there. And he's seen this.
And he's like, I'm going to break you with the other two. And in fact, that's what he's going to get to. He's like, hey, this kid's seriously. Like, this kid must have been just the worst.
But he's in card office labor. He's like, who else? And if you're a kid, this kid's like, no, that's a failure. And then this one, one of these other guys, like, I'm actually like, I'm just a little of those drinking body bonds.
And Graham, I think that's what we do. Some of the other guys are talking about, like, if you're boy, you see your boy killing you, like, yeah, I raised him till like, you know, tough enough. Like, we'll honor only poor on him. Like, he's probably taken.
And he's your old drinking body. And he wasn't gay. And that's the thing that the children were in the game. They knew that if he's deposed, this is kind of what happens.
Right? Some of Cyrus, my family's in this fortune were too horrible for me to leave over. But the grief of my friend was where he was going to be. He's falling for great prosperity into the life of a micro-justice he arrives at the threshold of a whole age.
So it's also the point that the old two were younger. They're telling me what the few wealth is on his dad's over. But there's some, for the broader least, you know, not telling what the future will bring. Probably not great, but just his name.
But the friend, this is his old age. This is his hidden rich and successful. And then instead of living a life of ease in his final days, he's still being messed up. So, yeah.
He's been living that way. I think he's just a little bit more of a story right now. But I think it's interesting. But the thing that breaks in isn't the death of his children.
The punishment to his children, it's a friend of his. And part of it, I think, I think, the name is what you do that of he kind of knew what was going to have the risk. That was not, in fact, but to see someone you know, for a long time, I'm close friend. I haven't had him to.
It wasn't more expected. So, can I just take over? He's, you know, I have a few days, a hundred times a minute, I was the former king. And so, he's the body of a mess.
So, remember, a mess is a die already. It's taken over immediately only for a few months. And can Biceus find the body and start muting the body. He starts hacking at pieces, get him to get him to get him to get him up.
Just to get back again, he was just under in the first place. And he's going to take it out if not on a mess on his body. Which is like a fun thing out with. He's not a fun building out with.
We, you know, if no one comes to talk about him, but you might remember Cyrus the Great. Yeah. He was a great moron. He's a good, so, good, so, would Cyrus back to this way?
Like, we, the stories of the cold out Cyrus were any of them at this level. Oh, right. That's the whole sort of mythos of him. Yeah.
He saves, what's his thesis on the fear of fire. He, you know, integrates his armies with all these different nations. And you, I think, you've also read this enough on Cyrus as well, which really paints him as a hero. Does he talk about his son, actually?
I don't think so. So, yes, this sets up really on the, there's something, there's something, there's something, something complicated. Yeah, the military conquest is understandable. But the way he's going about it is different than even Cyrus with the great people who were oppressed by others.
He was, you know, the great slaves. And as opposed to Can Biceus is conquering to grow his wealth growth. His personal life. People were like, excited to be conquered by Cyrus.
Yes. He uses those people to get back at a guy who sends a beautiful woman in his daughter as well. I understand it with respect to what's different than an uprising of people who are oppressed by others. Okay.
There, yeah. So that is what happens with Can Biceus when he gets into Memphis and goes after the masses. So with the conquest of Egypt, then that kind of kicks off, you know, can Biceus figure out what to do next. So he sets off three expeditions, three campaigns to go after different groups of people.
He has one campaign against the Corinthians, he has one, they go against the millions and one that go against the Ethiopians. So the campaign that he sends off to Carthage is troops. Just won't go. The Corinthians are close enough to the, like the, again, Can Biceus and army have made a lot of different people groups that the whole thing is accomplished.
But the Corinthians are close enough, closely unrelated to the people fighting for Can Biceus. They won't go. It's, you know, asking them to go fight for cousins essentially. And so they just refused to even do it in the first place.
Well, because it's the short one, the third one, the last one is against the the millions and they go off to fight, you know, the millions and they're, they're all killed almost instantly by a sandstorm. They're out, they're out, they're out, they're, they're, any millions are like, phew, yeah, they're all the only everyone. So that one did not go over, they were like over two at this point on his, like, next campaign. And then the, the third one in the order that erotic explains it out in the second one, but he sends off some spies to Ethiopia.
Because he wants to find out if he's able to conquer Ethiopia in the first place. So he sent these spies and as you might expect for kind of like a warmongering guy, like in Biceus, he doesn't really have spies. He has warriors over their spies. And so he sends these people, they're immediately found out.
It's not like, he just sends them, they're trying to like work their way in. And everyone's like, you're a spy or two. So they're like, how do you say, are your defensive capabilities? I just want to, I just want to look into a some, some army.
You got me other right here? He's not even, it's like within the first sentence they are caught. So he's not even, not even fitting at all. So they realize their spies and the first thing is, okay, so your king is kind of a coward.
He doesn't send a delegation, he doesn't send, he doesn't bring his warriors to high. He spies are so cool. That's why they're cool, but not, not Lanes spies are really, not that. So just said, you know, but I think the story is that he also not came by to say, he's not, he's not, we already did this.
And there's also, I don't know if this is what Robert just is playing out, but there's a very famous story where Cyrus sends a spy into a land and it ends up working not only great for the, the story for like the army, but really great for the spy. The spy has kind of been disordered back in the camp. So Cyrus pretends he's like, all right, we'll pretend that we got a huge fight and you're going to the enemy as like a factor. And then he goes to it.
And in fact, he's not in fact, he comes back and he gets all the information. And he's got this like a sweet wife. So we'll virtually love his spy. So maybe, maybe they're just maybe Narontus is thinking of that story and he's going to show that a son.
He's going to say, let me tell you, let me tell you, this is very interesting. No, so this is a goodVeg story that actually a very important story. This is just gonna be just going to be as soon as he gets, but Gary's a book ins. Gary's been a good living by his being.
Even though, even by the end of episode, Narontus, is kind of feeding in some serious stories. know is breaking in the image. So he's the great and the various, I think all the great. So he's one of the same areas like the same, I mean, also some of the various many technical rainfall.
I think so, especially because they're in some of the areas also in the also but, yeah, we'll get into the answer. There's the meat as opposed to the game of that one, which is the milk and the milk around the rain between, oh no, I can't be right. Because there's the meat that we had earlier one. Because it says before, there's the great.
Oops, that's right. So the spiders are going to eat the other meat they found out and the e-dulph is making fun of them. Like you can't actually face us. They give the the grass, grass, growing grow.
So I'm going to say, okay, my sister's people have no nature saying, game licenses people are getting a giant bow by the Ethiopians. The Ethiopians say everyone's watch this episode on YouTube, that's always a great way to do this. And the Ethiopians are just making fun of the people who can buy sisters people and so they give them this bow, this giant bow and they say, don't even bother coming back here until you have anyone in your army who can draw this bow, who can pull this bow, pull this bow, this bow, this bow string back. And they'll pass it around and another we can do it.
It's, I'm sure you want it. But it requires a lot of advice to even be able to pull back like a long bow string, right? There's a lot of force required for that, and everyone's doing to be able to do that. So that happens.
They're brought to the Ethiopian king and the spice brought these gifts with them. And so they hand them off and how do you think the Ethiopian king responds all this stuff? Right. The spice ring gifts.
I think they, I think the end of the day, they found out that they're not moving things over like, like, we have a really nice texture. Well, that's what they brought with them. So it's like, for himself. But I haven't been talking here.
Like this belt that I, I mean, my pencil is saying no, I haven't spelled. Yeah. So that's basically how Ethiopian king like accepts these gifts. So they're, I think the purple cloak, what is it?
There's purple cloak, there's a wine and like a bracelet I think, oh, the gold, the twists and that's in the bracelets. Yeah, plus wine. And the Australian district king, which is exactly what the Ethiopian king responding with. All these things are super lame.
So they show off this purple cloak. He says, he says, people to see people in sort of a cloak. So he's not even interested. And so then he has to go all the twists and the bracelets.
They talk about, you know, how difficult it is. Make this jewelry in the king versus that laughing. He had other shackles. They pulled them under people's shackles for stronger even than these like high-end bracelets that they were bringing.
And they're just like, they think it's disgusting. And they're just like, you want to smell this wine. It's like not even interested in that. And apparently the only thing that the person under the can buy is a new whale is a new wine.
There you go. like, like this is actually pretty good. Everything else is just trash in the Ethiopian king. It's like, there's nothing more time than they kind of start going back and forth because the versions are really proud of their food.
They're proud of how long they're men live. And so they start trying to get this 38 years. So they, they talk about how they live, you know, the oldest among the 80 years and they eat blood red. And the Ethiopian king is like, are you even joking?
The oldest one is 120 years and none of them eat any bread. So you know, it was really good. That's the only time to be a little bit funny. Anyway, just the, the, the person get just brash, which is like, marked endlessly by the Ethiopians.
And then, can I just throw these, the spies that are not very good spies? It's actually came by says they send them back. You guys really spies. How can you have dinner?
And then they get, they get to take a vote back. That's the important. That's one of the reasons that they're allowed to leave. But they have to be sure that they could draw the vote.
They just prank those like the Ethiopian vote. Like this is the common issue thing. Oh, it's like standard Ethiopian voters are able to pull them back. And so that's what they're like coming here and looking for the black ones will just kill you.
And so the persons are such and not the rats to the Ethiopians that it's like, go back to your king. I don't care. It's the great scene. So it's wonderful.
It's just awesome. It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like, it's a really fun scene. So that happens. And so the spies get some happy sacrifices.
And you want to get somebody's advice as response to all this. We don't mean try the vote. We can do it. We can do it.
And then his brother can do it. But can buy some good. And so he tries and sends people that night. Like, they didn't stick in.
But general push. They don't think they're on the part of the reason that they only sent a small delegation or a small group of spies instead of the alarmy is that it's like, you know, to go from just an Ethiopian long distance. And so come back to hear about all this. He's like, you know, consulted.
He's like, I'm going to go and kill Ethiopians now. And so he sends 50,000 people off after the goat Ethiopian. And they run out of food like two days and it's like, they want to be the right out of food. And they're like, you can grasp and I want to be eating the animal also.
And it's just looking like things are about to turn really bad. And so I think like, you know, thankfully, you're not, but get by to turn around. So instead of his army totally being destroyed by this, they're just very uncomfortable. But he doesn't get revenge against the Ethiopians.
So basically, Ethiopian is great. But why do you even revenge on them? Well, they don't know. He sends his group of spies.
So he sent the spies and they sent the spies back not dead. And 50 cents. Yeah. Because the spies always gets within that was going over the Ethiopians and all those guys also.
I'm not saying they send them like stupid stuff. Yeah, exactly. And we show them on the clock as a spy. Yeah, it's not great.
So yeah, the vice is not. So I think you're getting at this of there's what starts in the book. What starts in this section as Canvas just seems kind of like meathead or like a warm hunger evolves into something wrong with him that he's over reacting so much to these very small slides. I mean, again, the first place.
So that people like the only one that let him got people here. He goes back and they didn't leave the Ethiopians and wait for the persons. All they want was the left alone. And the real self-confidence issues.
Which then I think the third story kind of plays into that. So there. So this attack against Ethiopians doesn't go very well at all. And so what happens next is that there is this appearance.
I don't know the appearance of the right word. But essentially there is a a cow that's born that bears the appearance of APIS APIS. You want to name APIS. Yes, I got it.
So cow. I'm probably literally going to be in the comments. But APIS is a is a effort getting in like a different. And there's like a little looking cow that when it was a rare combination of features and when that set of features, when I was born with a feature that's called the birth of APIS.
And that happens that the rare occurrence and when it happens, the entire city shuts down and it essentially gets off festivals season. So you're all hoping for that. So maybe you'll be able to count. I don't know.
No, you're not supposed to kill the cow. No, I don't know. Are you kind of thinking about sort of like this? What's going on?
We're just not shoot of. We're looking at a bridge off from glassware and stuff like that. Like this. No one listening to this podcast.
No, this is a people in YouTube that Graham's wearing his Helios. I'd like to love sweatshirt, which is available to anyone who supports us at the Helios. I got the level on patreon.com. Which is a appearance of this cow that you know, is a incarnation I guess of this.
It's an effort to be. And can Bices just confuse us why this is happening from his perspective? The whole city suddenly shuts down. Everyone's just partying and he doesn't like it.
So can Bices is asking like you know, tell me about the whole festival. Tell me about the appearance of this. What's it like? What's the special of characters of the cow?
Aces is a calf born of a cow which can then no longer concealing more cows. The difference between the people who have a life from heaven and possessed the cow and as well as both aces who can be recognized by certain workings. It's always black. But there's a white square on its forehead and an image shape like an eagle on its back.
There's a whole hair on its tail and a beetle shaped mark beneath its tongue. But a lot of real things are going on. And it only comes every once in a while. You can read the cows to get this.
It's like a little bit of a cat or cat or cat or something. But they might do reference. I was going to go. I was going to go.
I was going to go. I was going to go. What's the name of the game? Do you know what they have a little working with a guy?
Well, you made a board for him. No, that's not name of the name of the name of the name. Well, they were like, in fact, I don't remember. They were like, I'm trying to remember.
They were like, I'm trying to attack. So the rare for a piece of pure, but when it does, it's a huge deal for this. It can buy us as mad at this because they're not doing what he wants them to do. They're having their little silly festival.
Don't go into cow. Do you need a man's not going to go well. People love their festivals. Just stick with that.
So a guy says like, oh, I would love to go to this. Can you tell me where this is? And they're like, yeah, we're going to kill a kid. So we have a kid in the leg.
I think it's where it starts. It kills the, you know, the information on the missing account. I think he did miss, but the, but the, but the him being said, I'm the leg matters later. The huge disappointment.
The pre-slate is looking like a rock about eight o'clock. And he being something insane. Drew is dagger and strike it in the five. Although he aimed towards belly gap.
So he tried to kill it in one blow. Yeah. It is right. It's right.
The math on that one is not hard. So can I just attack on the kills? And this is super, it's super bad that he did this. Right.
So both. I don't know how else to say other than like he killed their god. It's not actually their god is the appearance. But doing this is a huge affront to the different people.
So at this point, Herodotus identifies that can buy us as losing his mental, like his mental faculties are leaving him. And what then happens after this is that can buy us as a dream that a hero comes to him, a messenger comes to him and tells him that smertis sort of has taken control of purchasing control of the people that can buy us in charge of. Please don't use those exist. That would make it better.
Sort of that sort of says about it. Oh, I do go back. So this is where we find out that all kinds of all the things that once sort of says it's image. All right.
Can buy us as a decision sort of is pulling back the best ring showing himself as a capable military leader like he's a strong guy. He's like worthy to lead people and can buy us to not like this. So that's the best game I see for the best game. That would have worked out.
Instead, can buy us as a fine. Well, actually he doesn't kill him. So he sends one of his people to go and kill smertis. The, you know, whatever, we feel like we don't wrap it to real names.
But essentially, he might as if one of his people go and kill him sort of the guy does a process does this. He doesn't kill smertis. Oh, I know. And then come back and.
But you say, oh, what do we know about prophecies? Is he going to get out of the prophecy by having done that or not? Is what can happen? Smertis is coming back from the dead.
No, that would be cool. He's going to be born as cow. I'd like to know. So that what we'll find out is so smertis is killed by one of him.
He also kills my sisters. He also kills my sisters. And I'm just a weird thing where he's like, you know, um, can I just kill one of his sisters? Also, you know, that's a sort of side in the conversation.
Like, you'll go 11, but there you go. He's killed. That is a great response. The details probably don't do matter.
There are a few stories of why can I just did this? Most of it boils down to can I just go into it by this sister, white that is instantly. And there are different stories of how he wasn't just comes down to the sister was mad about her brother being killed. And so that's something to give my sister and can I just kill some of that.
So can I just not? That's a good guy. Just like him. Okay.
It's only on the side and here, apparently, can I just also has epilepsy? Do I know that? Do I know that epilepsy is not called the sacred disease? You're there before?
No. Call the sacred disease. I don't look this up because it looks similar to the trance that the oracles would have like Oracle and LMI before getting a proclamation like that is what the receiving vision would look like. Like an athletics teacher.
So I'm going to call the sacred disease. Okay. So can Biceus is feeling pretty good for himself right now. He thinks he's killed the only person who could take his throne based on prophecy before and problem solved and nothing that is going to happen to him for now on except it does.
So can Biceus is just kind of chatting with his men and he asks them, what kind of men, what kind of men do the persons think that I am? Oh, that's a dangerous question. We can't pull back the bow. Yeah.
So when you're weakly, right? You would want to pull back the bow. How do these failed campaigns? I just told my brother and my sister and I couldn't pull back the bow.
We can't do it. You might do it. Yeah. Has everybody feel about me at this point?
What's the idea? Yeah. Sometimes I'm sometimes down. Like, it's like just like just like just like the story's not giving you.
There's no way you could get thumbs up. Like, yes, there's been the military success, but he is a man is not a good one. No, this guy's a lie. I would.
You'd like to go. I would like to go. I would. I would like to go.
It shows a dainty grace. So the dude who came by to send out to kill his brother before that I named his process and process answers the question, my lord, they give you high praise and all things, which is a lie. Except they say that you are excessively fond of wine, which is like in the kind of the story, like finding a side, they don't really brought up the wine stuff. They've been to the future.
But this guy gets incensed about the weirdest things. Is he just thinking about the wine thing? Yes. And he killed the top of his son because of his son.
Because like the people think you might drink a little bit, even though they generally love you. Yes. Oh my gosh. And it's a terrible event.
They call this on out, draws the bow, attacks him. Wait, he draws the bow? No, no, no, he does. He drew his bow, so he can buy his bow, which is not the idea of the one.
And so kills him. And then essentially, like I can do whatever I want to, you don't get to tell me, you don't get to hear his eyes. Which is great. It's terrible.
And then, kind of looks at the process and says, you know, what do you think about all this? And for example, he's, I do believe that not even God himself shoots a well. He breaks the guy. Oh my gosh.
That's the word. And the chapter purged up. We talk, we talk to people and put it all the time. I worry about it.
He's a shadow word. He's a shadow word. It gets me everything. It gets me everything.
And the chapter, I lose it every day. It's okay for some reason. It gets me. So, so, just trying to make it relevant to the kids today.
You know, it's pretty good. I'm going to appreciate that. Hold up to the present. I'll get the first section.
