I sjelesorg hos Jesus / In the Care of Jesus «Du oppdrar oss til ditt rike gjennom kors og trengsler». Slik lyder et ledd av kirkens bønn. I livskampen trenger Guds barn en stadig sjelesorg hos Jesus. Gjennom dagene i Bergen dette år, vil vi bli ført inn i denne Jesu omsorg. Gjennom en frigjørende forkynnelse, ved lov og evangelium, og sentrert rundt Guds gaver i ord og sakrament, løftes vårt blikk fra vår egen lidelse og opp imot det lys som skinner fra herlighetens trone. Vi vil med dette programmet rette fokus på sjelesorg både for den enkelte og for menigheten. I Bibelens ord, som reformatorene frimodig brukte, finnes dette frigjørende, sjelesørgeriske og trosstyrkende budskapet. Enduring life's turmoil, God's children is in need of a constant soul care from their Savior. During our days together in Bergen, we will this year be led into this particular care of Jesus. Through freeing proclamation, by Law and Gospel, centered on God's gifts in Word and Sacrament, our eyes are raised from ourselves and our own suffering to the light that shines from the throne of glory. By the present program, the organizers want to focus on soul care for both congregation and congregant. This freeing, soul soothing and faith strengthening message is given in the Word of Scripture, boldly used by the reformers. Lecturers are Dr. Knut Alfsvåg, Rev. Jan Bygstad, Drs.
