1917 (Featuring Catherine Gonzales)

On the 111th episode of Piecing It Together, Catherine Gonzales joins me to talk about the Roger Deakins cinematography extravaganza that is 1917. The war film is shot in a way that makes it seem like one long take and is probably going to win Best Picture. Puzzle pieces include Birdman, Saving Private Ryan, Dunkirk and We Were Soldiers. As always, SPOILER ALERT for 1917 and the movies we discuss! https://www.1917.movie/ Director - Sam Mendes Writer - Sam Mendes & Krysty Elison-Cairns Starring George MacKay, Dean-Charles Chapman, Colin Firth, Mark Strong, Benedict Cumberbatch Universal Catherine Gonzales is a film and TV critic and runs Shuffle Online.
