Ever feel like you keep getting *this* close with your messaging and then…Ugh, actually never mind, I don't know if this is right

Or do you clarify your messaging and then lose touch with it and forget…How do I talk about this again? Is this really what people want?

Two steps forward, one step back.
Two steps forward, one step back.

That's because messaging clarity isn't a replacement for messaging practice.

Often people will reach out to say they just need a single session with me. That they just need that one aha moment that will finally bring them clarity on their message.

We think it'll be this big BOOM moment where we've got clarity and then we're done

Well, what we actually need is almost always much deeper than we think. (Same as is likely true for your clients and what they need.)

Being a Messenger doesn't mean you clarify your messaging once and you'll FOREVER onward feel confident about it and know how to talk about it.

It means you clarify your messaging and then continue to be in the PRACTICE of working with it.

There are a lot of assumptions and misunderstandings that get made when it comes to your message and messaging. I don't want THIS one to hold you back from being the leader you're here to be.

Listen in.

Hebert YOUNG JAMES FROST just knows, deep in his bones, that he's a writer. He writes far into early mornings, after his wearying hours of scrubbing toilets and sweeping floors. He loves writing that much. But it's not only the joy of words that keeps him grinding; it's his desire to retire the janitor's mop. He sees being published as the key to living an improved life. James has another deep-seated conviction: that he's not good enough. He secretly longs to be accepted. However, the conventional others in his life seem all too willing to remind him that he's wasting his time. Then he meets and falls in love with Leigh, the one bright spot in his endless misery of self-doubt. A quiet but resolutely religious girl, she has to fight off disapproval of her own from overly critical parents, whose insults are countered by James's often-voiced admiration of her. Likewise, Leigh's faith in his talents begins to build his confidence, eventually allowing her to introduce him to a different way to Quiet Habits Quiet Habits The podcast companion to the Quiet Habits blog.https://quiethabits.net Page Break with Brian McClellan Brian McClellan Page Break is a collection of casual conversations between epic fantasy author Brian McClellan and fellow creative professionals—like two friends sitting down over lunch to discuss career, craft, family, and hobbies.
