#193 – I’m Afraid

It's 2022. Lindsay is taking a break from the podcast and writing, taking a year off to accomplish some other things on her list. But Jerry has recruited someone else to join him. Because, as new authors, we should talk to each other, the New Author Podcast will have a new co-host. Joining Jerry most weeks will be Rich Kacy. Listen as Jerry and Rich (and sometimes Lindsay) talk about making a writing plan, writing when life gets in the way, their publishing hopes, and anything else that pops into their head while talking into a microphone. If you're an existing author or are writing your first book, come and listen to us because we were in the same boat as you. We've made mistakes, so you don't have to! Come hear our successes and our mistakes, and find out where we spend money and where we shouldn't have spent money. We'll tell you everything we did to be successful (or fail...as the case may be). And you'll hear a pleasant conversation about making a writing plan, marketing tools and how to gain newsletter subscribers. We are publishing our first Patreon Craft Video for $5 patrons. Check it out at https://www.patreon.com/newauthorpodcast. This week, you can hear things talked about, such as Jerry made a plan Rich is testing Vella Rich is also back on the road How is Average Jones doing? and so much more! Read more...
