193 - Joe Keain Transitioning from Employee to Business Owner

Joe Keain is a co-owner of PodFit Podiatry in Adelaide, South Australia. In the episode, we discuss his transition from being an employee to becoming a business owner in partnership with his former employer. PodFit Podiatry was not Joe's first employer. He initially worked for a podiatry business providing home care services. After 12-18 months, Joe was ready to leave the podiatry profession, but that all changed when he obtained employment with a business that challenged, inspired and excited him. We also discuss: Losing MSK skills. Enjoyment being part of a team. How he asked to become a part-owner in the business. The 12-month transition to business ownership.
