And the property was so big, it was literally the entire, pretty much the entire suburb of Nutfield. Maybe a couple of neighbors and stuff like that. But it had this beautiful property where you kind of, you come in and it's like a, you wouldn't even know you're like a take that dirt track and then all of a sudden that dirt track turns into kind of like a proper mini road. And that's their driveway.
And you're going like, you're going right around. In fact, they had to do, I think they had to do two sections of the driveway because people were like, you can really, hang it back. It was one of those fun driveways you were going because I'll take two and you can do some great little grips and stuff around there. And you get to the beautiful house.
But yeah, my memories of that time were great. Her, Alex, the daughter, her parents, both Peter and Beth were just exceptional people. Beth especially, I've got a lot of time for because just a absolute, oh. Like, they're worse.

At the time, 80s and Slakes Up. Bit of rock. And Beth was on TV too. That guy's not so bad.
Yeah. She was always there with me. And like, they were royalty. But as a family, you're sort of with the kids hanging out like, I'm just drifting on.

That's sort of, that's crazy garage. I don't want to know. No, really. He did have this, oh, he did have this huge GMC, big ass track, like a big proper American pickup.
And the scoop was actually facing, in my view, the wrong way. Like, you know, like a daily direct to face outwards. The scoop on here was facing the window because in his mind, the wind would hit the wheel. I asked him about it.

Someone had taken like a, one of their Ford Felkins, a brand new one, and just set the thing on fire. And a protest. Yeah.
Just some weird protest that she thought was like, like, yeah, but um, getting back to it. Yeah. Awesome family. So nice.
And I've got a lot of, a lot of love for Bev and Alex and just, they're just great people. And Pia was just always a nice guy. Like a generally nice guy. I gave me a lot of shit.
I remember him doing a, a nice guy. A lot of shit. Uh, you think you could drive? Yeah.
Well, we did, you know what, we did have a, uh, nobody knows it. We did have a little race once, uh, I think we were in Greensboro. He must have seen me in traffic. Cause I had my first car was this little fucking GTI.
This is a C.E.G. It was a, it was a, uh, it was an interesting one. And so we, I'm sure, I haven't shorted this day. He knew I was coming because there's, it was a good sort of 20, 20 minutes at home.
And I was just going to, I was just going to Flora. And so, I mean, I was watching him. He, at one point, we sort of looked at each other in traffic. And at one point, I saw him take a, uh, take a roundabout and I just, I cannot tell you, like, even thinking about it now, it was properly like at least 80 Ks.
