197. Accessible Pricing That Doesn't Eat Away At Your Profits

from Coaches on a Mission

One of the important rules we live by inside my mentorship program, The Hive is this: Center the Client, Not Yourself. This rule applies to how we sell, how we coach, and how we market our businesses. And it also applies to the way we structure and price our offers. Which is where Clarissa Cabbage comes in. Clarissa helps people with autoimmune symptoms who aren't getting the support they need from their doctors, take control of their health so they can get back to their lives. This year she's taking her coaching deeper by introducing functional lab testing. You'll hear in the episode how excited Clarissa is to add lab testing into her work. But as the saying goes: new level, new devil. So, Clarissa has a few questions about how she can design coaching packages to include the cost of lab testing while still maintaining accessible and aligned pricing. The two of us landed on a great solution but, here's what I want you to listen for: Notice when Clarissa and I shift from simply putting our heads together to solve a problem to centering her clients instead. As soon as we made that adjustment…the answer became crystal clear. When we asked ourselves, “what's the coaching package that would benefit the client most?” we realized that Clarissa needed at least two different options to ensure that everyone who wants her help can get it without eating away at Clarissa's profit margin. I think you'll agree. whether you're rethinking your coaching packages or you have another question you've been unable to answer…center the client instead of yourself to see what you uncover.
