1976 Darwin to Ganmain - "The Glory Road"

To celebrate Indigenous round on May 17th Ganmain Grong Grong Matong FNC and 1976 premiership player Eddie Motlop have recalled a famous road trip from Darwin to Ganmain ahead of the 1976 season when 2 car loads of Darwin footballers set off on an extraordinary journey landing eventually in Ganmain where they would claim its 16th and final South West FL premiership – their was never a dull moment as the lads navigated its way through outback roads, floods, law enforcement and other obstacles to finally land in Ganmain ! Not to be missed!!
