"1985" You wanna start a fire? Let's go back Way back when technology was our god We had modems they were 300 baud It wasn't fast just the best they could get We surfed the net before it existed yet BBS Mans best friend the Commodore 64 Mechanical pencil and Trapper Keeper MTV and radio disc jockeys And on our tapes Misfits and Dead Kennedys 1985 it was great Repo Man on a VCR tape not Beta Up all night reading Mad Magazine Hanging out with Max Headroom G.I. Joe and A-Team and She-Ra I used the Crystal Castle as a makeup kit Running wild just a kid on the street Catching crawfish with a string at the creek Burning quarters at the mall arcades Meeting girls on rented roller skates backwards And better yet I rocked the 6581 Decades before you kids with your Ableton Live Catch the wave and sunburns at water parks Staying out all night way after dark 1985 it was great Repo Man on a VCR tape Up all night reading Mad Magazine Hanging out with Max Headroom G.I. Joe and A-Team Stepping now into my time machine Jess at my side and all my kids are with me We're going back to the land of the free Back in time back to 1989
