1985: The Unabomber

Our last episode of this potpourri 1985 month finds us turning our oversized Sherlock-esque magnifying glass toward one of the 20th century's most infamous terrorists, Ted Kaczynski, aka The Unabomber. While his run of horrific bombings extended before and after 1985, this year proved to be one of the most active and pivotal times in his 17-year reign of terror, including the first time his bombs killed someone. We'll talk about the infamous manifesto and how it's an extensive look into the mind of someone suffering from lifelong, untreated emotional distress.
