1986 - Solarbabies
from A Film By... Hosted by Audio Cookie Dough and A Film By...
"Who will rule the future?" That's what we plan to find out as our limited "1986" series meets up with Tessa and Nicole from the Doom Generation Podcast to talk about "Solarbabies!" What is Bohdai? Where did all these orphans come from, and why is Jamie Gertz the only female prisoner? We make comparisons to "Tank Girl" and the "Mad Max" films, question the idea of programming murderous robots to enjoy what they do, and ask why make these kids play skateball? All this, and Jason Patrick's thighs, on this collaboration between A Film By... and Doom Generation! www.afilmbypodcast.com [email protected] @afilmbypodcast on Twitter and Facebook
