Today we begin the Gospel of John, Chapter 20. We can only imagine what the disciples were going through having just witnessing the crucifixion of their Lord and King. But put yourself in the shoes of Peter when Mary Magdalene runs up and tells him that the tomb is empty! You see death could not stop Him, and the grave could not hold Him—for He is Risen!! Just as the prophets had said... We read some of the most exciting words in scripture, from the mouth of an angel, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’ ” Have questions?
