THE ONE-SIDED COIN ISN’T HELPING ANYONE A Texas sheriff's office opened an investigation after a video posted to social media showed a deputy pinning an 18-year-old to the ground and then arresting her mother. The deputy was placed on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation into the Tuesday incident, which is a standard protocol, the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office said in a press release. I have the video 10 minutes before and the press release and the story is much different! DID YOU SAY, “HEY BLINKIN?” In early June 1863 President Abraham Lincoln faced a dire situation. He had been president for two and a half years and was reviled by most. A civil war had divided the country between North and South and the Union Army had just lost two major battles. People from his own party were attacking him for his compromising, indecisive attitude. Was Lincoln simply a pawn? Was he forced to be an abolitionist? We go into it tonight.
