1st Samuel // 1st Samuel 31 - Saul Dies (Alan Stanley)

This week, Alan Stanley closes 1st Samuel for us looking at the story of Saul's death. As Hukanui Bible Church wraps up 1st Samuel, Alan discusses death and how we approach it. Saul loses three of his sons in the war with the Philistines, and Saul himself is wounded severely. Saul ends his life, causing the Israelites to flee, and bringing 1st Samuel to a close. Alan talks about how the Israelites responded to the death of their king, who they relied on. He discusses how this relates to us, and our "weekly Gospel" we may rely on to get us through.
