Hump Day is here. I got new stakes. All my Halloween shit is finally up & running! We've got some beautiful weather ahead for Oktoberfest this weekend. Looking at plenty of sunshine and temps in the upper 70s/lower 80s! In the news this morning, Jimmy Kimmel returns to late-night TV, Adam Fravel asks for a new trial, another person announces their candidacy for Governor of Wisconsin, and the Coldplay couple are now saying they're "just friends" In sports, the Brewers continued to slide with a 7-0 loss to the Padres last night, a look at the NFC North Week 4 schedule, Jerry Jones says there won't be a video tribute to Micah Parsons on Sunday night when the Packers are in Dallas, and Micah talks about how tough it'll be to sack Dak Prescott. Elsewhere in sports, Mike Gundy got fired yesterday by Oklahoma State, robot umps are officially on their way to MLB, and an update on yesterday's free hot dog giveaway at the Wiener Circle in Chicago. We made our Week 4 Pigskin Picks, and Doc joined us just after 8am for an early Racing Report thanks to County Materials in Holmen. We let you know what's on TV today/tonight and we also discussed the new Baywatch show that's coming out, and a special appearance by James Van Der Beek at a "Dawson's Creek" reunion. Cool story about a guy who saved another dude's life by performing CPR on him in a TJ Maxx, and another great story about a kid in Utah who had his wheelchair stolen, but got a brand new one thanks to some help from a few local charities. Talked about some dating tips from 2,000 years ago that still apply today, and in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about an A.I. "artist" who just signed a multi-million dollar deal, a guy in China who ran into a traffic light with his scooter and got it stuck on his head, a dude at a bar in Michigan who shot up the place after an argument over 50 cents, an off-duty cop in Ohio who was in a porta-pottie that got tipped over and he came out guns-blazing, and a hostage situation at a motel in Texas that came to an end after a DoorDash driver called the cops.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
