2.13 Psyche & Soul - our emotions and their role in health and happiness #33
from Don Bosco, South Asia · host BOSCOM South Asia
This weekend we shall reflect on our emotions and their role in health and happiness. An essential aspect of what makes us human is our capacity to feel. Healthy persons are in touch with a wide spectrum of emotions, and are able to express these emotions spontaneously and appropriately.Unhealthy persons, on the contrary, are overly restricted in their range of emotional expressions. They are comfortable only with a few emotions. Director Jose Parappully, Salesian priest and clinical psychologist presents a psycho-spiritual and educational reflection titled 'Psyche&soul', a weekend podcast from Sumedha Centre for Psycho-spiritual Wellbeing at Jeolikote, Uttarakhand. He uses insights from psychology, sacred scripture as well as the socio-political realities of our everyday life to help us enhance our emotional well-being and our spiritual life – our psyche and our soul.
