This movement emphasized the power of the Holy Spirit - moving and working within God's Church - through "spiritual gifts" (charismata in Greek).One of the most highlighted gifts of that movement was: speaking in tongues (prophecy was a close second!). But this gift isn't "new"! In 1 Corinthians 14, Paul teaches on the very same gifts of the Holy Spirit - for the 1st Century Corinthian Church that was utilizing them.So what is speaking in tongues?
